These self generating platform mounted units are suitable as a new installation or direct replacement for the original magneto on many motor-cycles. We make a platform twin unit that can comfortably be run at engine speed for the Scott two-stroke twins.
Being able to run without a battery is even more important in competition where weight saving is especially significant. Our new magnetos also offer a weight saving over the original items. A twin plug option is also available on most units. Rev-counter advice.

The flange mounted single is a popular choice for the Velocette and Vincent singles. Our current best seller is the Vincent flange mounted "V" twin magneto. The flange mounted parallel twin unit fits Ariel, BSA, Triumph, Norton, AJS, Matchless, Royal Enfield. Rev-counter advice.

A new BT-H unit to replace the original magneto and dynamo on the early flat twins. The unit provides ignition and supplies approximately 100 watts at 12 volts for lighting.

We have produced magnetos for all sorts of engine configurations including the four cylinder Gilera racer built by Mark Kaye. We are pleased to discuss customers special requirements.

Warranty Statement

BT-H Magnetos Ltd (“BT-H”) warrants to the original customer that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from the purchase date. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, BT-H will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by BT-H on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage to this product that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. This limited warranty also does not apply to any product on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, has not been handled or packaged correctly, has been sold as second-hand or has been resold.

This limited warranty covers only repair or replacement for defective BT-H products, as provided above. BT-H is not liable for any packing and shipping costs to or from destinations outside of mainland Britain, and does not cover under warranty any costs associated with the customer determining the source of problems, removing, servicing or installing BT-H products.
